Guide To T.S.O.T.S.B.

wpid-20151002_140531.jpg

Let me first introduce myself since I get the same questions over and over. I was born in November 1968 which coincidentally makes me a Scorpio. I’m the father of three, grandfather of one, and husband to my wife. Some of my interests include woodworking, grilling and smoking meats and such, hunting, camping, keeping my blogs up to speed. I’m a retired disabled United States Air Force veteran with 15 years of service. My Air Force job was working with munitions and small arms, also known as AMMO, long live it. I.Y.A.Y.A.S.

I’m a simple person, I’m a blunt person, and I’m a person with simple beliefs. I have patriotism that runs deep to the core. I’m pro-military and pro- United States. Your interactions with me might seem abrasive at times because I speak my mind openly and many people can’t handle that. I believe in brutal honesty, I don’t care to be fed bullshit, and I will not feed you bullshit. I listen well too, I am open to new ideas, expressions, and thoughts. Maybe we can learn new things from one another.

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce The Sting Of The Scorpion Blog to everyone to showcase a few key features that have been implemented. If I can be so forward to ask, I would like visitors to take an opportunity to click the different links to the right of the page, to explore the different areas of the blog, and to look at the pages provided at the very top. I have spent a good deal of time extracting posts from cached versions of my old blogs and re-posted them for anybody who would like to see how things were in the old days & the present before my original blogs were killed off. I have recovered less than 20% of the previous posts so it is actually a work in progress. There is an ever growing collection of pictures on this blog where I showcase my favorites from everywhere. Since I always receive and hear such a great deal of stories about what people have done over the weekend I’m showcasing the reader provided stories for everyone to enjoy which fall under the category for The Magic Weekend. Additionally, since other people’s e-mails always seems to get a smile out me, I added a “Scorpion Sting’s Hate Mail” section to showcase them for everyone else to enjoy as well. I truly hope that y’all enjoy your stay, return often, and find my new home easy to navigate. I look forward to seeing each one of y’all. I have tried to make The Sting Of The Scorpion Blog visitor friendly and easy to navigate.

After operating six blogs all with different goals and then deciding to combine everything in to a new blog here I feel I need to lay out exactly what is offered. Now, these will just be the highlights but it will give you the jist of what you can find here and why you are finding it here. I suppose you can call them features and maybe even opportunities.

“The Magic Weekend” – Silently every Monday morning since I can remember I have played a game in my head while listening to all the stories the people are talking about around me. Typically all the stories fall into one or more of the following five categories of “Sex, Jail, Money, Blood, or Fame”. On a good Monday morning a story hits all five categories. I personally think it’s all bullshit unless you have pictures to back it up. A picture is worth a thousand words……..right? Which leads me to ask what kind of weekend everyone had? Sex, Jail, Money, Blood, or Fame? I will be updating this blog as often as I have stories to update it. Feel left-out? Want to share? E-Mail Me with your tantalizing stories and I will feature it all here. Be sure to include all your pictures because without pictures it’s probably all just bullshit.

I also find an array of pictures and things on the internet, through my e-mail, on Facebook, on Tumblr, on Google+, and on Pinterest. If I like them I post them on my blog to share with even more people who might enjoy seeing them. With that being said, sometimes I take those pictures and make posters out of them giving remarks or comments as needed. Hey, I just put what we are all thinking, and then I share.

Then of course, the origins of my original blog was to write and share things that are in my life, whether it be in the day to day or in the past. I also used to be a bartender at a full nude strip club in a not so distant past. I still have a boatload of stories to share about that as well.

When in doubt, check out my category listing, search my blog for information, and you are still in doubt, contact me and I will try to clear the muddy waters for you.

    • I’m trying “to get out more” and see more blogs, it’s a slow journey but I’ve been coming across many cool blogs with some really nice features, those are the ones I follow.

      • Compliment received and positively acknowleged. I am increasingly impressed by the variety of creativity and expression that there is in Blogworld. It is also a touching feature of the human condition that we have the desire and need, delight and trepidation to communicate with each other. This has to be a good thing especially here where viewers/readers can choose to be part of the journey or take another route.

    • In my journey to find more diverse blogs to explore I tend to gravitate to the ones that really get me to read, your blog did just that. My blog content isn’t for everyone, but everyone who enjoys it seems to return for more abuse everyday.

  3. Thank you for visiting my blog and for the follow. After perusing some of your posts, I appreciate your honesty and straight talk. I agree with you, that if people don’t like what you have to say, they don’t have to visit, just in order to criticise!

    • As you might have been able to see, I truly welcome all to comment on whatever I have. I do, however, draw the line at being scolded because a person takes offense as if it was done on purpose just to offend them specifically. I save comments and e-mails like that because I put them together in a post where I “try” or “attempt” to show how petty and silly they really are being.

I have been out exploring new blogs to read and when I find ones I like I get to reading until I get out of time. Meaning, I join you because I want to keep coming back to your great blog.

  4. did you know scorpions are invisible until they want to be seen?
of course you did!..I live in Texas…I have been stung so many times
now only a short headache…I always wondered how all of a sudden
they just appear…I do believe they are like the God Poseidon , he had an invisible helmet, and scorpions are the only creature that will commit suicide instead of being captured when backed in a corner…..
they also have a very human scream if they are burned…( no I didn’t, just have seen it done…I wouldn’t do that…)

good “about” I will enjoy wandering around….
    Take Care….You Matter…

  7. I am glad to have found “Sting Of The Scorpion” and I am loving it already because it is a no BS way to approach things. There is another blog I like too for much the same reasons and it is called “The Rude Pundit.” I have always wanted to be totally outspoken on my own blog but as hard as I try I still find myself being somewhat reserved . . . a weakness I am working on. I will be coming back here a lot because at this point I feel “The Sting Of The Scorpion” has a lot of material from which I can learn many valuable lessons.
