To all of my husband’s followers and to the friends he has made I thank you from the bottom of my heart and from his heart for coming to this site and his other sites. Many of you only knew my dear husband from this site and did not know the true person he was some even thought porely of him but my husband was a very loving and dedicated father and an even more than loving spouse, soulmate and best friend to me. This was his blogs and views and I love him for being him and not giving a fuck what others thought. Unfortunately this will be the last post – my loving husband passed away unexpectedly on 10/13/18. Our beautiful children and myself are grieving deeply for the wonderful person he was to us and writing this last post in his place is killing me on the inside but I needed to make sure everyone knew.
OMG!! I am beyond sorry for your loss!! I have no words. I met him through blogging … and we connected. I’m a retired physician who worked with the VA. Plenty of times we talked about this … he was also very kind in celebrating my birthday by making a meme for me … the birthday of a stranger to him. That shows the kind of man he was.
I can barely begin to imagine how he was as a husband and father!! Many times he wrote subtly about you … his wife!!
Again, so sorry for your loss. He will always be with you … in your mind, your soul, your memories … and your children’s DNA.
My heart goes out to you and yours. There will always be a warm spot in my heart for the Sting of the Scorpion!!! Tight hugs … always and forever!! ❤ ❤ ….
Thank you very much for the kind words and yes he called you Rexy. Yes you are correct he wrote subtly about me lmao. It was his way of keeping some things private but every once in a while he couldn’t help himself lol.

He was an amazing man … as a friend, a VA physician, we talked plenty of the VA. I believe he felt prompted to go to his VA once and wrote a kinda ‘harrowing’ piece about his experience!! … which was totally true!! I worked for the VA for 28 years!!

TY I know he enjoyed talking to you and I might take you up on that one day. I was told by hospital doctorl he went into an abnormal arythmia and they just couldn’t bring him back. He was a wonderful man no doubt. Him and I were two pees in a pod so to say and him being him. As i was going through some things he left me a beautiful 3 page letter of how much I meant to him and how much our love was. It was amazing and sad and was just hidden for the right day for me to find. Again thank you for being his friend. Nikki

Before I go, Nikki … an afterthought … as a veteran, he was entitled to post death honors, benefits, monies (I think) … if you haven’t done this already, please, make sure that you explore these options through the VA that he went to. It’s not a handout … it’s something both you and him (and maybe the kids) are entitled to.
