Why? Being White Equals Being Racist

I don’t recall a time where I regulated, either people in my actual life or here on this blog, based on race, religion, or political allegiance. It just doesn’t happen. Unfortunately that opens me, personally, as a target. I receive many threats and promises here from people who would like to meet me in person so they could teach me a lesson or two about their personal views on life and what it means to them. For the most part I ride the fence on many issues so I don’t step on people’s toes who have their own agenda to attend to. With that being said, I offer y’all the eloquent wisdom of someone who believes he has the answers and must educate my white ass. Followed by a comment made in reply to his comment. These can be seen in their original beauty at “It’s Your Choice To Unfollow T.S.O.T.S.B.” where I was writing about how people decided to jump ship. Both comments make their point. Unlike many other blogs, unless your bullshit comment is spam, I let it stand for everyone to see and if you happen to spark my interest I will even talk about your comment separately. Anyway, below you will see the original reader comment and another reader’s reply to the comment.

Here’s why your dumbass lost followers, you stupid fuck. YOU are not an American. Your ancestors murdered the true real Americans, who were the Native Americans, and stole this land. YOU, you moronic piece of feces, are an IMMIGRANT. I absofuckinlutely adore when a caucasian muthafuckin idiot, such as yourself, claims America as their own land. Caucasian racist asswipes such as you never worked or earned jack shit in this nation. I am 1/4th Pawnee Indian and MY people own this land, not your Ofay goofy ass. Be very glad all you lost were a few hundred followers. You ain’t fit to carry Barack Hussein Obama’s soiled socks. Now go suck a penis.

And now the reader reply………..

What percentage of people who called themselves Romans were actually born in Rome smart ass? My Grandfather lived on a reservation as a child, his mother was a full blooded Cherokee. I would dare say that I have Indian blood also so your argument is invalid with me. Being an American is an attitude and a state of mind. So you have one quarter Indian? That would leave 3/4 black if you are as you claim to be in your own words, a Militant Negro, and we all know just how many blacks lived in this hemisphere back in the day, right? Thanks for playing.

End of comment reply.

What’s my opinion? Well let’s begin with what Jueseppi had to say first. Yes, I am white, I cannot claim and/or cling to any of my ancestors being anything but white. I know my identity, it has not been split up and spit back on me as something I can pull out when I feel the urge to explain myself, with me you just get white. Since I wasn’t around back when the western hemisphere and the Americas were being explored I can’t accurately conclude who killed who in order settle the land for future generations of men and women of many races to come. As far as the rest of your rantless bullshit, well, we will just let those be because they speak volumes about you. So, if it makes you sleep better at night calling me a racist because I’m all white, I can live with that, because you have an agenda and I don’t want to fuck that up by disagreeing with you, my gift to you.

Philip Paul asked the ultimate question at the beginning of his reply. I was born in the United States of America, my parents were born here, my grandparents were born here, and my great grandparents were born here. Beyond that, I don’t know what in the fuck my people were up to. Sorry to disappoint you, Jueseppi, but my family was always poor, did all their own work, have always worked for someone else, never owning slaves, never having hired help, never having employees, just doing it all themselves trying to survive. Your blanket assumptions of me are so wrong that it is almost humorous because you, for one, believe all the bullshit you were taught and now preach.

As a nation we are fucked because of people just like you, Jueseppi, who don’t give a fuck about this nation or the where it is headed. I suppose if I were to look at life from the point of view you chose to point out, none of us here in the United States should be proud to be Americans, we should be proud of where our ancestors came from. We should all have hyphenated names like African Americans instead of just being Americans. Its you who wants to have something besides American in your description, maybe you need to hyphenate all of your lineage together to show people your true patronage, we both know that being American is not enough for you, we both know you have no American pride, and your arrogant comment proves you only give a fuck about Jueseppi.

Normally I wouldn’t choose to invite racial bullshit here but Jueseppi had a point to make, he had to prove how white I am and he needed to point out that being white makes me a racist. He does this without proof or knowledge of me or the definitions he hides behind. I support his freedom of speech as he condemned my own. Judge me, prove me wrong, but be sure next time you want to be self righteous in your banter against me that you remember one simple thing, I don’t give a fuck about your opinions.

You’re Here………………….Now What?

Looking For Opinions. Please Review

Currently I’m working on a “guide” about Ball Pythons. I have over 30 years experience in the raising, caring, and breeding of Ball Pythons which I think might help people who are interested in reading about the topic. When I write the guide I will break it down into probably 4 or more individual posts, but also include the guide, in its entirety, in one or two places. One option is to add a “tab” above with a corresponding link to the right, or I will create a secondary blog which would be solely dedicated to the guide and refer to it back here. Or, I might just do both.

Which is where I’m requesting everyone’s help. Number one, of course, I am curious if it would even get read or not. Number two, how best to present it to readers. And number three, would it be better just to do multiple posts and give them their own category. I have the material, that’s not the problem, its the wondering of how to present it in a manner that would be the most helpful. I also keep scorpions as well, so your response will determine how far I move forward with either.

So, everyone who is reading this post has an opinion, I would like to very much hear it from everyone. I appreciate all of your support and look forward to the individual feedback. Thank You.

Where Not To Find Relationship Advice

automotivator-1

No, I am not a relationship expert. No, I am not going to give y’all relationship advice. No, I am not trying to confuse you. I personally hate hearing relationship advice and I don’t give it because I don’t know what is rattling around in another fucker’s skull. With that being said, I got a rather lengthy e-mail from my #1 hater (fan/stalker) explaining how I can have a better relationship with my wife since I’m such an asshole. I won’t glorify her ignorance of my marriage by sitting examples but it made me sit down and think of the top five (5) people nobody should take serious relationship advice from. Finding people to give you advice on relationships is like finding people who want a free lunch; everyone has something to say about relationships just like everyone likes a great free lunch. Some of this advice is good and should be filed away in your subconscious for safekeeping, but most relationship advice isn’t so fucking good and should be taken the same way you’d take an article written for international woman’s magazines, with an enormous grain of salt. I don’t think it’s not that people intend to give shitty advice on relationships, rather, the advice is poor because the people who are giving it are either not qualified or they have ulterior motives. With that being said, there are five people (or types of people) you should stay away from when the advice on relationships starts flying.

1. Any and all television personalities. It’s important to remember that they are, above all, entertainerss with that being their number one goal, to enyertain. Entertainers care about their ratings, not about your relationship. If you’re looking at these shows as a model of relationship behavior, you’re barking up the wrong tree so much that you’re not even in the right forest. So while these shows and these people may occasionally offer a pearl of wisdom, remember that it’s Hollywood.

2. Your never-married aunt is another person whose advice on relationships is best to avoid at all costs. People who have never married often can’t help but harbor a certain essence of bitterness or misplaced desires. This isn’t to say that every single person in the world is bitter, but many who have dated for years and never gotten the ultimate reward are like professional athletes who have never won a championship: they are bitter about their lack of a ring.

3. Your seven-times married aunt is one more person you should avoid getting relationship advice from. On the opposite side of those who’ve never married are those who change spouses like most people change cars; when their husband gets too many miles, they trade him in for a younger model. These people can also be bitter because even though they have married, they haven’t done it successfully. But the biggest reason not to seek out their advice for relationships has to do with them not really knowing how to make a relationship actually work.

4. Your ex, never trust your ex to give sound relationship advice. Logic tells us that an ex might have insightful advice that you can truly use. They know you, they know what went wrong, and they know what you could have done to make your relationship work. Logic tells us this, but human behavior tells us the opposite. If you and your ex are truly friends (and don’t just pretend to be in front of the children), no longer harboring any feelings for one another, then an ex might actually be your relationship guru. But if your ex has feelings for you at all, be it love, anger, or hatred, they may purposely sabotage you instead of helping you. Sometimes, it’s just too big of a risk to take. Plus, isn’t that person you ex for one or more reasons?

5. And for the love of whatever diety you pray to, do not take relationship advuce from any comment sections of the internet or from unsolicited e-mails. I was once told that the internet can be a wonderful place for advice on relationships, but it has to be the right area of the internet. What is the “right” area of the internet? Should we just Google it?  The comment section of web articles is not a good place to get advice on relationships or anything else. These sections are filled with baiters whose main goal is to get a rise out of people. They do this through racist, sexist, homophobic, religious,  and other offensive comments. They cause people to do two things, lose faith in the happily ever after, and lose faith in humanity in general.

Which is why y’all are here, right? Expecting me to drop a pearl of wisdom by accident? Well, don’t feel fucking stupid or misled, I mentioned at the beginning this was to help shed light (both serious & funny) on some of the people we might have in our lives. Want my advice? Do whatever works for you and piss on everything else. The end, that’s all the advice I have. As well, that is the only advice I will ever need. My relationship may not look perfect to you but it works perfectly for us.

Who In The Fuck Cares?

wpid-who_cares__by_hazza_6660-d2ya4e0.jpg

I have never claimed to be a writer. I have never claimed that I have a full grasp on everything the English language has to offer. I have never claimed that I am someone special. I have claimed, many times that I “write” here on this very blog for the pure fun of it. I am not in it for the money, fame, or any kind of publicity. I am just here for the hell of it and that is it in a big giant fucking nutshell. I like monologuing through conversations that would otherwise just bounce around in my head with no place to get out. My blog has but one purpose in its existence, to let me display my personal opinions on whatever in the hell it is that I have an opinion about. I never set out to have fans, to have a following, or even to be liked. But, shit happens doesn’t it. I also seem to have a substantial following of haters, people who don’t know me but hate everything I say and how I say it. I have learned that it literally comes with the territory when possessing a blog of this nature, a blog without purpose or gain. Shit, the only reason words are spelled correctly is because my Android employs a heavy handed autocorrect that has proven to be utterly relentless. But wait, what is my point here?

I got an email with a monologue lecture, 6149 words, where it was explained to me why I am not and never will anything remotely resembling any kind of writer. Duh……..I know this already dumbasses. It was a very interesting read and one of the top things that stood out to me was when I was told that nobody cares what I have to say because what I have to say isn’t relevant to anything. I beg to differ, its relevant to me because 99% of the time I am blogging about my personal life and surroundings. But, she is right, I mean really, who cares? That’s a two way street we travel though, people write in with their particular criticism about my writing and my skills to do so, and I don’t care about that either. Wait, does writing or blogging about it mean that I care? They do humor me, just like this last bonehead, because people spend so much time complaining and do it with such a beautiful passion that it makes me want to talk about it. Perhaps if I had an increased amount of formal education then I could be a snobby jackass as well. Or I would be able to string sentences together more eliquintly so they appealed more to our educated society. Well, fuck that, I am who I am, what you see is what you get. No, I do not care about the feelings which I hurt or the toes I stomp on. You visit by choice and I will always defend a person who is smart enough to evaluate the choices in his/her life. I may not like the choice personally, yet I appreciate the fact that people still make choices. I have been doing this blog thing for some time now and the way I do it works for me. I appreciate people taking the time out of their busy days to visit and see what’s new here. I also appreciate each and every comment everyone leaves. Mostly, I appreciate the person who makes the choice to send me lengthy emails to explain to me how worthless my blog is to them personally.

On a higher note, take a moment to read my Introduction and Disclaimer found at the top of this blog. I lay it all out for everyone, what to expect from me and what not to expect from me. You will find I am just a regular guy with a wife and family who has enough spare time to do a little blogging just for the hell of it. Other than that, just breathe and live life to the fullest. If you can’t do that then just continue taking a giant shit on people who know full well how to use soap and water. So, remember boy and girls, be sure and eat it every damn day. Have fun, lighten up, don’t be so full of aggressive energy, masturbation helps I hear. Now, go do something you made the choice to do!

Stop Asking Me What Color It Is!

question-mark

For those of y’all who weren’t aware, I’m color blind, I suffer from deuteranopia (deu-ter-an-opia) (dü-tə-rə-ˈnō-pē-ə) to be more specific. Before I get into this post I want to give y’all some information that may help you in the future when you encounter person who suffers from color blind/ color deficient vision. Deuteranopia:(also called green-blind). In this case the medium wavelength sensitive cones (green) are missing at all. A deuteranope can only distinguish 2 to 3 different hues, whereas somebody with normal vision sees 7 different hues. Don’t forget that y’all also know how to Google things, but this time I helped y’all out. I don’t get angry easy, I don’t hate too many things (the list is real short), but I draw the line seeing the humor asking anyone who is color blind “what color something is” because it isn’t a game for us, period. We live our lives seeing this beautiful world the way we see this beautiful world and that is the end of that.

Now, I was not born color blind that I know of, or at least not completely according to my mother, but when it actually started I couldn’t tell you. I do know I failed my first driver’s license test because I failed to be able to distinguish the colored number hidden within the colored dots. After a trip to the optometrist it was declared that I was “suffering” from deuteranopia. The optometrist mentioned to my mother that it was probably accelerated a great deal due to some head trauma I had a little less than a year before. So, from age 16 on I have learned to trick my mind into seeing things that are not there. Memorization of certain things helps as well. I make do, as we all do, we do it everyday, not because it is a choice, but it is what it is and that is how we are forced to live.

color-blindness

The times I hate most about being color blind is when someone new finds out. Why? It’s simple, because they immediately, and I mean absolutely immediately, begin asking me to tell them what color this thing is or what color do I see for that thing. Enough is enough. Here is the plain and simple truth, I don’t know what colors y’all are seeing in the first place so any comparison I make is pointless. I vowed, after today, to punch the next person in the face with a chair who asks me what color something is because, unlike for that person, it is not a joke to me. Therefore, my gift will be a chair to the face. Lights out bitches! I consider it rude and very insensitive to not take into consideration that it is a condition and not a choice, and it definitely is not a freaking game of red light green light or simon says.

I do get asked how this affects my daily life overall, in a nutshell, and how do I “cope” with it. Well, first, I don’t look at it as a handicap of any sorts, it’s just how my life is. There are challenges I assure you, but when one gets good enough at interpreting the world around himself it becomes much more easy. As an example, take driving into consideration, all signs, signals, and warnings are in color. It blows my wife’s mind still to this day because I can “tell” what “color” the traffic signal is and she doesn’t get out. All traffic lights are either vertical or horizontal, with the colors either top to bottom or left to right, red always being on top or on the left. So, when one is lit up I can tell which one it is and what I need to do, stop, caution, or go. My problem is single flashing signals because who in the hell knows what color they are flashing.

A few other challenges I have are when I cook, things turn a different color when heat is applied. For example, beef and other red meats I need help discerning when they get “browned” 50% of the time. How to overcome this set back? Everything has a time at a temperature when it begins to transition, so I cook by time and smell mostly. Which is why smoking foods is easy for me. Picking out my own clothes can be challenging. My solution? 98% of the clothes that are in my closet are black in some variation. All of my underwear are black. All of my socks are black. All of my boots and shoes are black. Both of my hats, cowboy and baseball, are black. My watch, wallet, belt, and even my wedding ring are black as well. However, I take my wife’s word for it if she tells me a color looks good on me if we are shopping. Colored or white shirts stand out in my closet trust me. So, y’all might ask if I like the color black and my answer is that the color black is easy. One cannot not mis-coordinate the color black, at least not in my world. I do have my fair share of camouflage as well, but that just goes where I live and what my hobbies are.

So, my advice to any one of y’all who feel your curiosity is warranted, justified, or just cute, just remember how a chair to the face will feel because that is how you make me feel. I’m not here on planet dirt to be someone’s parlor game or freak-show. If y’all want shit like that then go visit your local Walmart for fun. Does it suck being color blind? Not for me because I don’t have anything to compare it to. Last reminder. Chair. Face. Last bit before I close. It has been brought to my attention that the colors on my blog are all jacked up and sometimes it is hard to see. I know this, but that isn’t how I see it.

Time To Take A Look In The Mirror

Human-Race-2

It truly is time for the people of the world to look in the mirror and see that there is only one “race” that will ever matter. Every single human being here on planet dirt share one bond that, no matter what, can never be changed, we all belong to the human race. With that statement I could actually close this post and consider it complete. But, I’m not done yet because there are so many boneheads out there that just don’t get it. Why? Is it too simple in the complexity of our society? Have human beings not evolved enough to recognize that it isn’t our color that makes us different, it’s our DNA. Even with that being said, DNA isn’t even enough to separate one person from every other person on the planet. I have read plenty over the years about how “race” divides our societies and just recently I read a very interesting article at “Classic Ruby: Unadulterated” which sparked up a conversation between myself and the author. She has a way of delivering a message that made me sit back and take a moment to give it all some thought.

Before we actually get into my personal thoughts on “race” I want to point out, especially for new readers, that I am color blind in real life. I don’t use the term metaphorically to make a point but to illustrate how there might be a perspective that y’all haven’t thought about before when thinking about the races on our planet. Sure, I see some color, but I don’t see color the same way as others. In reality, it’s not color blindness but more like seeing with a color deficiency. Overall, it is hard for me to explain, but that’s not the point of this post either. I will make it simple, because it is simple, we need to look at the person next to us as a fellow human. One’s color has little to do with who that person really is. We should spend less time worrying about what race someone is and spend more time just being human to one another.

Race_FINAL_shea_walsh_web

But its complicated isn’t it. We can’t look at another human being in black and white. Why not? In my opinion, based on my experiences in life, I find it is because we get programmed through our learning early in life to judge another person because of their color. Why? because they are different than what we see in the mirror. How does that end? I have had people tell me I have it easy in life because I’m white and they are handicapped because they are not white. That being bullshit is putting it mildly. We all take a different course in life, we all make different choices, and we all make different decisions. No, we definitely are not all the same but we all definitely bleed the same color, red. Perhaps it is everything we have in common with each other that drives us to notice the obviously distinctive differences. We need the other person to be different because we don’t want them to be like us. All races are no different in the fact that they like to point out and clarify the differences between the races. But then we sub-divide within the race we belong to as well, further dividing us from our neighbor.

So, I’m white. Does that make me wrong? Does it make me less aware of what the difference amongst the races are? I have been told before, in fact today being the latest time that I’m white therefore I can’t possibly understand anything beyond being white. Why not? Here’s my opinion why not. Look around you, listen to some different music, drive into a different neighborhood, talk with some new people, and y’all will see that different races thrive on being different. They say it makes us a stronger race to recognize ourselves. No, it makes you stupid because you choose to continue with false propaganda witch harms the different races. Have a culture, have a way of life, but don’t use those as excuses to not allow everyone else to do the exact things you want to have freedoms to do. So we are different, so the fuck what.

In closing, I would like to mention that I don’t judge you by your race or your skin color. I will judge you by the words you speak and the actions you take. Too damn bad that every single person on this planet can’t do the same. Racism, at least in the United States, is kept alive by the very people who claim it is holding them back. Again, why? I have found that some people need to be mad at something, anything, right or wrong. People prey on “race” because there is money to be made and 9 times out of 10 it is the same race preying on their own, admit it to yourselves, every race does it. Why? I think this might be a good place to sew up this corpse I have been kicking so I can bury it once again. Race, racism, and the people who proliferate it’s existence really piss me off. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Feel free to comment openly. Maybe this time I will get to read something new.

When You Choose To Be Offended

offended

When someone enters The Sting Of The Scorpion they are doing this at their own free will. Y’all don’t come here because I’m selling products or services. Y’all come here to see what I’m posting and to see why I’m posting it. Regular visitors know by now that I don’t care if the material, subject matter, or stories actually are going to offend you. If you are easily offended by things in our world then you are definitely in the wrong place. I decided that I was going to stop giving the offended a voice here at The Sting Of The Scorpion because those pussies don’t appreciate it anyway. I have been holding my tongue because I wasn’t clear if I wanted to open this can of bullshit or not. But, after a fantastic spam comment this morning I realized that maybe I need to explore why so many people have an uncontrolled bleeding snatch about a camouflage cow picture being posted here asking visitors to provide the caption. That original post entry, “Provide The Caption #5“, has drawn allot of controversy because the fucking cow is not something that should be used in something as degrading as a stupid contest. Really, you don’t say. Tell me more how this offends people Scorp.

Oh damn, where do I begin. Let’s start with the religious aspect which has been shared with me. Not all religions of course, but specifically The Sting Of The Scorpion was bombarded with the fact that the way the cow is depicted in the picture I provided is sacrilegious in Hinduism. I was informed that Hindus (in general I would suppose) see the cow as holy and not to be harmed. Whereas the picture I provided shows this bull in imminent danger because the helicopter gunships are on the prowl. I think it would do no good to remind people this picture was done in humor and no animals were harmed. Why bother? Why bother trying to reason with people who will not be reasoned with. I live in the Texas where the cow has a different purpose, for me specifically, I like to eat them.

bull

We can get into that aspect as well. According to some people who follow the cult of PETA, that we shouldn’t be eating cows or treating them in a fashion which will make them sad or bring them harm. What in the fuck is a matter with PETA? I see trying to make your own choices for your own reasons but I really don’t care what or why you think the way you do. Have any of y’all ever read the mandate or mission of PETA? Every time I read it I want to get my damn crayons out so I can help them draw rainbows coming out of everyone’s ass. Here at The Sting Of The Scorpion we talk about eating meat all the time, we talk about hunting this meat all the time, and of course we talk about smoking/grilling/cooking this meat all the time. Do I need to remind you dumb fucks that this picture was provided in humor? Do y’all (PETA) have a sense of humor? Since 09 January 2014, the day I posted this picture to get participation for a caption, I received 59 emails and 46 spam comments about how what I’m doing is wrong and offensive in so many ways.

I suppose this was in an attempt to get me to take the picture down. Perhaps it was even an attempt to get me to apologize to cows, religions, and fascist groups. I was going to let this one go, continue on, business as usual, but y’all have rubbed my fur the wrong way this time. I owe nobody nothing. I wish I could give people with their heads up in their asses a sense of humor because they take things way too serious. And here we are, here we have once again, people who think just because they are offended that this makes them right. It doesn’t make you right, it just makes you offended. I would have never expected that a camouflage cow would make so many people angry with me personally. There is still time though, do not despair, I will not be closing this contest until tomorrow morning and this is when the winner of the caption contest will be announced.

As a footnote. My intentions here at The Sting Of The Scorpion are not to intentionally offend anyone. However, there are those of y’all who believe differently than I do and live differently than I do as well. That’s okay, I understand that y’all will sometimes have a differing opinion or be offended by what you see here, and that is okay as well. Just remember, you clicked the link to get to The Sting Of The Scorpion, nobody can click it for you, nobody is forcing you to be here, and I truly find that when someone comes here they are doing it as a freewill choice. Just remember that I’m not your mother so I don’t have to like you and vice versa.

A Dynasty Without A Patriarch

duck-dynasty-cast__130813194923-575x383

I have spent most of the morning reading what others have been writing about the indefinite suspension of Phil Robertson from the popular A&E reality show Duck Dynasty. If you don’t know who I am talking about or what I’m talking about you just might live under a rock. I admit it, I have been watching Duck Dynasty since it all started out and I will continue to watch it until it gets the axe, but then we have re-runs of course. I was a Duck Dynasty fan before it was “cool” to be a Duck Dynasty fan. The show is right up my alley. That does not mean I align my beliefs, values, or morals alongside the Robertson family, it just means I enjoy the television show for it’s entertainment value. So, back to what I was reading, which fell all the way from the extreme left to the extreme right as far as opinions go. Here is my opinion. As I may not agree with what was being said does not mean I condemn anyone for what was said. When someone does a personal interview one is liable to get some personal opinions, especially from such a colorful family like the Robertson family. Some of could read before there was controversy, some of knew a little bit about the people before the was a show called Duck Dynasty.

Anyway, I was reading an article @ FoxNews which was written in a real entertaining way, which is what sells right, entertainment value. I provided the link without permission and I will not be quoting anything from the article, instead I will be talking about some points from it and from the article which started it all in GQ Magazine. I have read many articles, opinions, and commentaries about this GQ interview. Which, if I really need to mention this fact, is bringing a generous amount of revenue to GQ because everyone who didn’t care a week ago all of a sudden gives a shit and wants to gossip with their opinions. Why? Ratings, revenue, and readership. So why am I writing something about it all? Simply because I have a few words to say. I gain nothing if someone reads this post or if nobody reads this post. I do it just for the sake that I want to say it out loud.

I’m a huge fan of freedom of speech. However, I don’t speak of the kind of freedom of speech that holds no repercussions. We are all responsible for our words and actions no matter who we are. Everyone should be held to the same standard. Are we all held to the same standards? Hell no we are not. If I need to explain that to you then you are really at the wrong blog. A&E has ties with different groups with deep pockets to keep happy. It has zero with keeping the American people happy. What does it matter, in my opinion A&E shot themselves in the foot with this one. The Robertson family will survive with or without A&E and they would probably be better off in life if they just went ahead and ended the relationship. The had their run, both parties literally made an assload of money, and neither one of them needs the other to survive in this presumptuous world. Just remember, just because you are offended does not make you right, it just makes you offended.

The pictures in this post were located using a Google image search. I did not have permission to use either picture which were found publically. As well, the two links provided were placed for reference only, it does not mean I agree or disagree with what was written in them. I also did not have permission to share the links which is why I only talked about them as “articles” and not their content. If you visit them it is your choice, I found them as well using a Google search for the GQ article with Phil Robertson.

One Million Thanks To Everyone!

I was looking through some comments and statistics this morning and realized I have some fantastic visitors dropping by. What makes me think that? Since 06 September 2013, the birth and conception date of this blog, there have been 1600 visitors who have left over 400 comments on various posts. Additionally, in the short six weeks time frame 36 of these visitors became dedicated followers. That’s amazing to me how many people stop by here either at random, by accident, or intentionally. Y’all are amazing and I just wanted to take time out and thank everyone from around the world wide web, WordPress.com, Blogcatalog.com, Google+, Facebook.com, and Pinterest.com because without all of y’all I would just be talking to myself.  One Million Thanks To Everyone from around the world who takes the time out of their days to pay me a visit.
